A. Dear Mam, There are two things that you have queried: 1. Loan: You will be liable to pay if you are the co-borrower or co-applicant. 2. Credit card: You are not at all liable. The bank can attach the property for recovery but through court. In case you are harassed, please contact Vidhikarya for an instant help.

A. Dear SIr/Mam, Collection agents act on behalf of the loan giving company. You can write a letter to the credit card department of the bank as well as the ombudsman, and request them for some time. They will revert to you by letter only.

Hello Sir, This is to inform you that I have nearly 15 lakhs outstanding in my credit card and I have paid up-to-date all dues. But, currently I am not able to pay dues on time for some time. I need some time to pay the dues. What is your opinion about this or is there any other way to reduce my EMI amount. So, that I can able to pay on time if the EMI amount is less. Please reply.

A. Dear Sir/Mam, The way to reduce this would be to contact the bank for this purpose.

Hi, I gave an amount of Rs 50000 to a girl who once used to be my friend. She asked for 15 days amd now its been 4 months today. She always avoids my call and seldom respond to my messages. The transaction was an account transfer . please provide your valuable advise if there is any legal way to file a complaint in this matter. Thanks
Share this questionShare Icon

A. Since in your case, the transfer has bee done by the way of bank accounts, the movement of the funds can be established. Before, filing a case, you will have to send her a Legal Notice demanding your money from her which was given to her as help. Do you have any acknowledgement from her side as a part of receiving HELP from you. If yes then that will add as an added advantage to your case.
