Gross misuse of 498A is very common nowadays.
Since you are not guilty of any such acts, you can file a writ petition against the passport authorities in the HighCourt since you have the merits of the case in your favor. Impounding of passport is invalid.

A. Hi, Do you really want divorce ? It is only one month ask the reason of it to them and record all that .Would be better for both of you to resolve the matter amicably if it is possible otherwise you have to wait for one year for filing divorce.
