icon Discharged from IT company without notice period or payment for the same

I was discharged from an IT company within only 10 days of my resignation. My notice period was 2 months. It was a voluntary resignation but the company didn't discuss with me about Last Working Day.


A. This might have happened die to Covid situation as many companies are under lot of financial duress and they are trying to sustain themselves. If that is not the scenario then you can start the legal process against them by sending them a legal notice first.

If you do not file a suit before the labour court soon then the prospect of wages being paid will be barred by limitation period forever. Consider sending a notice demanding the payment of the wages first and then approach the court.
