My friend's daughter of 19 years, following altercations with her father on certain issue, has left home without asking her parent and has married a muslim boy, though she is Hindu. As she is above 18 years and can opt for her choice, I think her action does not stands in violation of law. But, the boy with home the girl has married, is reportedly a rowdy fellow and we apprehend he may, in course of time torture the girl and may also create problem for the family of the daughter. In such a apprehensive scenario, what precaution/safety meaures needs to be taken by my friend ? Regards,

A. As per the Supreme court verdict when boy & girl consent with free will and marry is with in the Law. When such a situation in future can take recourse of law.

My father married my mother, as was already married and has been living with us since 32-35 years with a different surname 'Verma' instead of his real surname 'Soni'. My father purchased a land in 1985 from his real surname, where my mother, who is a government servant, made a house with the money earned from her job. But now his first wife and their heirs (who are living in my father's ancestral property ) declaring our home as their and our father is also refusing to make our name in the house since my father and his first wife and children has same surname and ours is different as provided by him. What we can do to save our house.

A. Here surname does not become relevant as long as there is no dispute about the identity of the person. Your mother can bring an injunction order on the ground that she vested on that house and property and cannot be evicted.

Please help me out with a way for it because I really wish to marry him with my family's approval. I am in major grief because of this. Please help and guide me with a proper solution in which both the family will accept us.

A. Let him do a nikah and whatever procedures are there. Also convince your parents that boy`s side also will do thier cerenoies at a different place. Thereafter you can live as you like. But think what to do with children.

It's been 1 n half years to my marriage and my parents in law had demanded for dowry 10 laks out of which we have given 5 lacs.. They have harassed me and abused very badly over phone and with this pressure even husband starting beating me up listening to their parents. I have filed a dowry case against them and now they are denying they have taken dowry and they never demanded for money.. Before 1 week of marriage we had transferred 60000 Rs to my husband's account and handed him 40000 Rs and the rest 4 lacs were given to his dad when nobody was there. How should I prove that they have taken dowry.?

A. Bank transfer is very strong evidence. It is sufficient.

I found out after reading the emails in my husband's gmail account that he had an affair before our marriage and has a baby with her. And after three months of our marriage that girl is emailing my husband saying '"why you not talking to me? U forgot me and your child? I have given birth to ur child and I have married you too. I have given my body to you and has shared everything" and etc. After this I got her number and abuser her over WhatsApp messages but she denied strongly and that emails were sent for joke and she wasn't serious. I have also got the screenshot messages of my husband and his friend talking about the baby. Now my husband is saying that "she has attempted for suicide and her husband has found out. Because of the mental torture you have given she wants to die" Now my question is if she really dies by suicide (because she has fear of getting caught or may be thinking about her family prestige) and she leaves a note behind saying I'm the reason for her death.. Will I be subjected to abetment to suicide?

A. Nothing will happen. Now itself get file a case and mention that she asking you to hand over your husband to her by divorce or else she will commit suicide. It will support you if she commits suicide.
