A. As there is no rental agreement signed and probably you gave only verbal notice before vacating. Now immediately give written notice to owner mentioning your verbal notice of vacating given earlier and claiming the advance amount, mention the amount paid already and remaining amount due by owner. Ask the owner to return money within 7 days from the notice received. You can seek lawyer help to draft strong written notice or you can send legal notice from lawyer.
