I have joined on May 2017 and worked 120 days in an government service sector under contract basis. From september 2017 I took maternity leave and I applied my consultancy (mumbai)for MB . They asked me to send documents for company approval. But my working company (chennai)stopped the process stating that am outsourced. Government won't give money when you are in leave. So we can't provide MB and rejected my rejoining. Is an outsourcing women eligible for MB? CiteHr( forum) connected by many HR from varies cities said you are eligible. Kindly contact labour commissioner.Please Give your valuable suggestion to get clear idea and process further..

A. What are your terms of service on contact, outsourced, service conditions, have you obtained prior permission of ML. & what about your continuation of services. better to consult a family lawyer to take up the issue quickly.

Hello, I am working in Gujarat Electricity Board from 2 years on regular basis. I have 60 Earned Leave balance. So I can get 6 month maternity leave + 2 months Earned Leave total 8 months without any issues as per my knowledge. Now the question is if I want more 1 to 2 year leave for child care then what should I do? This leave type will be LWP (Leave Without Pay). Will wait for your replies.. Thank You.

A. You are entitled as per the terms & conditions of Board leave rules applicable to permanent employees.You can avail the maternity benefit and leave as per the terms & conditions. Better to take prior approval of your maternity leave & EL and LWP as case may be and get your advance leave plan duly sanctioned in writing to avoid any problems later on.

I am working in Gujarat Electricity Board from 2 years on regular basis. I can get 6 months maternity leave. then I have 60 Earned Leave balance it means 2 month. so I can get 6+2=8 months continue leave during delivery without any issue. Now suppose I want some more leave approximate 1 year or 1.5 year for child care then what should I do? This leave type will be LWP(Leave without Pay). What are the procedure to get this much time LWP?

A. What is the terms & conditions of maternity leave benefits and eligibility as per the Board.If it is as per the Act of Govt of Gujarat you will be entitled.
