When I had personal telephone conversation with my friend,i said that another person X is corrupted. Will that person X can sue me for slander?

A. Dear Sir,
A single word or sentence may not attract offence of slander. You may be rest assured as he cannot take any action against you.

usually it happen through floor.
you can record and inform them before reporting it to society.
if still not improved then you can send legal notice or then case.
