My wife is a farmer, she owns 3.5 Acre of land in UP. I have two simple question, can we build a house for our personal residential purpose on agricultural land or not. If yes then, is there any limit

Agricultural land cannot be utilised for residential or commercial purpose except on conversion of the same into non-agricultural land.
If you convert your agricultural land into non-agricultural land then only it can be used for residential or commercial purposes.
