icon Ownership

My husband bought our flat prior to getting married. Flat is in his name and his mother as second owner. What are my options to ensure my wife's name is added or she is the beneficiary of this flat?

A. Being wife you does not have any right over the flat during the life time of your husband except right to residence. After demise of husband you and other legal heir should have claim in respect of portion (which is half portion) of you husband only.

A. RERA itself objecting you to file case with them then think how they will give you relief ?
better take consumer case to logical end.
but if you still like RERA then approach lawyer who can file it for you .

A. After becoming chairman, secretary, president then people start thinking that they became king.
but legal remedy depends on state as states law differs for societies.

another thing is the seller is responsible for getting NoC and not buyer.
90k is huge amount. it is illegal.
you can send legal notice first. it will not solve problem but after that you can pay 90k and take possession and then file case on society to recover.
