In case of a merger of companies, the status of the member of EPF Account holder is not affected once n UAN is generated and the monthly salary of an employee is continued. The Company is duty-bound to deduct members' contributions from the salary or wages and deposit the same with the concerned PF Authority in a routine manner if there is no break in service of the employee for any reason.
