My mother name is different in EWS certificate(not as per 10th marksheet or jee application) will it be considered? If so what should I do
A.Dear Client,
To resolve the issue related to the correction of your mother's name that appears differently in different documents legally, you need to pursue the following steps. 1) An affidavit is a legal document that is used to state facts under oath. The affidavit should include the applicant's current name/surname, the desired name/surname, the reason for the correction of name, and any other relevant details declaring that the "A d/o B " and the "A d/o C" are the same and one identical person. The affidavit should be made on a stamp paper of the appropriate value as per the state where the applicant resides and should be sworn preferably before the 1st class Judicial Magistrate or Executive Magistrate. 2) The next step in the name/surname change process is to publish a notification in the Gazette of India. The Gazette of India is a publication of the Government of India that contains official government notifications, including name/surname change notifications. The notification should be in the prescribed format and published in at least two local newspapers. 3) After publishing the notification in the Gazette of India, the next step is to make out a name/surname change deed. The said deed is a legal document that confirms the name/surname change and includes the details of the old and new name/surname. The deed should be made on a stamp paper of the appropriate value as per the state where the applicant resides and should be signed by two witnesses and notarized by a Notary Public. 5) The final step is to submit the name/surname change deed to the relevant authorities for information and necessary corrections in records. The applicant may also need to provide additional documents, such as a copy of the Gazette notification and a copy of the affidavit for updating the records. It is essential to follow the correct procedure to ensure that the name/surname correction is recognized by the concerned authorities.

A.Dear Client,
If your mother's name is completely different in both the documents then you have to file an affidavit stating that both names belong to the same person and specify any spelling mistakes in the name. Further, you can provide the affidavit along with the other documents at the time of admission or counselling.
Hope it helps.
Thank you.
