A.Dear Client,
You can connect with the opposite party, discuss their default, and try to settle the dispute amicably. If the party does not take any action, then you can file a civil suit before the jurisdictional court for breach of contract and claim the payment dues.
Hope it helps.
Thank you.

A.Dear Client,
Your query requires more details to respond suitably. It is not clear from the query as to the nature of the agreement you like to mean. So, presuming that it is a rent or lease agreement, it may be informed that a dispute between a tenant and landlord is resolved under the state-specific Rent Control Act under which a Rent Controller or Addl Rent Controller is appointed to deal with the dispute arising out of a rent agreement between the parties. So, serving a legal notice to the concerned person, you can file an application explaining your grievance before the concerned Rent Controller or Addl. Rent Controller to resolve the issue amicably. Reach out to an Advocate for guidance and steps.

A.Dear Sir,
Better approach Police and get an undated cheque for the said amount with interest etc. If you go to the court on agreement it will be a civil case as such you have to spend lot of money and it may take 3-4 years to get the result.
