How can I get a death certificate without knowing the death date ? How can I get a death certificate without knowing the death date ?

We have a property in name of my grandfather. Death certificate was not issued then ( almost 75 years back ). And date of death is forgotten. What is the procedure to get my grandfather's death certificate so that the property can be converted to my father and uncle's name ?
