A. Hello Client,

You can Lodge a complaint or GD at your local police station regarding such situation.
Lodging FIR would be difficult as the person who is harassing you is a stranger and specially if are unable to provide his name and address. While lodging the complaint mention that you don’t want your parents involved. Police generally respect such privacy requests unless they believe it is necessary to inform them.

You can also call the women’s helpline (1091), explain the situation, an ...ReadMore

I asked my maid for sex and now she is blackmailing my mom for money.. we haven’t done anything..what can I do?

A. Dear Client,
If your maid is harassing you and your mother and forcing to give her money after the act, it is advisable to act fast. Blackmail is defined under the Section 306 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (previously, Section 384 of the Indian Penal Code), which says that it includes extorting property from a person that is threatened with injury. If the maid is demanding something or otherwise making you feel in danger of bodily harm or the defaming of your reputation which would embarrass your f ...ReadMore

A. Dear Client,
In the given situation, upon receipt of a threat from GF, you can file a caveat with the appropriate court. Once a caveat is filed, it ensures that the caveator is armed to fight the opponent's suit or processes. No ex-parte order can be issued against it because it allows the caveator to avoid a multiplicity of procedures. After filing the caveat, if the opposite party applies to a suit or proceeding, the court has to compulsorily serve the notice of the application filed to the ca ...ReadMore

A. Dear Client
It appears that there are no such caselaws. Technically and medically sperm can live inside the vagina for maximum 5 days beyond that it is not possible to find traces of that. Three months after that there is no chance of that unless the woman is pregnant and the DNA test of the baby can tell who is the father.

However, under Section 415 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), cheating involves deceiving someone to cause them harm or injury. If your boyfriend made false promises of marriage to gain sexual favors, you may have a case under Section ...ReadMore
