Police call demanding money

Few weeks ago I messaged a girl from insta who where giving nude video call service, I just asked her rates & demanded 1 free pic. Yesterday I got a call from Haryana police saying that girl is caught & my phone no. Was in her whatsapp & my name is also attached in case file. They told to send them 3500 so that they will remove my name from the file or else they will send the case file to the my area local police and will arrest me.I just want to know whether it was a real police call to arrest me or just a scam call?
