Love marriage - problems of brother in laws Love marriage - problems of brother in laws

A boy and a girl are both 26 years old. The couple wants to get married in 2021. The girl's family has locked her daughter. Now the girl wants to move to Mumbai from her family just for the purpose of employment. Therefore, both have to take legal precautions for the same. The girl's family can file a fake complaint against that boy like kidnapping or blackmailing, or "why did the girl go to Mumbai" or "why doesn't the boy marry his daughter?" Can they legitimately ask such questions?
For this situation, what kind of legal precautions should take that couple?

A.When the girl has attained majority there wont be much of a problem. The girl needs to be on your side. When the police or the court asks her she must say that she has done everything on her own.
To get the girl out of the house arrest you can file a writ of habeas corpus.
Thank You.

A.Dear Sir,
If you like to play with police and judiciary then all will be in trouble. Better let them marry if they are courageous, whatever may come they have to face.

A.In all such cases, after getting the complaint the police and also the court will ask the girl only, if she has attained majority, that whether you were kidnapped or did you go by your own wish. If the girl speaks in your favour then you are safe and both of you can go as you wish.
If the girl is locked and house arrested by the parents then a habeas corpus writ can be filed in the high court for bringing her and presenting in the court and the court will ask the above said same question to the girl.
