Hathway Internet - Activation before required Date Hathway Internet - Activation before required Date

I recently shifted to Hathway. I had requested the sales person i only need internet from 1st Jun 2020. He said its possible. Instead my internet got started from the 17th May 2020.

I reached out to the sales person, who initially ignored my calls and messages. Post that he promised he would pay the loss amount (15 days = 500 approx)or get it extended for 15 days by 2nd June 2020. He has not done either and is ignoring me. I informed him i would go the legal way if required

I have also spoke to the Hathway through calls/Mail and they have ignored my requests. I had also informed them i would go the legal way if they keep ignoring me .

Any suggestions on how to proceed ?

A.How did you make the request to the sales person, orally or through email, message etc. If you proceed legally then you have to prove the specific request you have made. The usual course or time within which your internet connection had to be started, shall also be relevant. If you want to proceed legal then remember that at the first instance, the cost of legal proceedings will be much more than the loss of ₹500/- approx. which you have sustained. However, Consumer Forum is the best option for proceeding legally in your case. You should start by giving a legal notice to the company.
