M satyam singh, actually bses high voltage electric wires are passing from all over my roof and on every other day there is a short circuit and fire. Wires are inside my house premises. What should I do and what is the legal limit of the roof boundary that can be built?

A.Give a written representation to the District Engineer for the immediate removal of the high tension wires overhead your house. If they don't make arrangement for its removal, approach the GRO Cell, and then Ombudsman Authority.

Alternatively you can approach high court by filing wp for immediate remedy.

A.You have to issue notice to Superintending Engineer & Executive Engineer of your jurisdiction, no action taken within the time limit can file a petition before Lokh Adalat in Collector office and also take up the issue with Electricity Regulatory Authority and Electrical Inspector Office of your area.

A.Write a letter to the electricity board regarding this . If they don't entertain file a police complaint.

A.Dear client electrocution by live wires necessitates strict liability, i.e., the electricity department would be liable irrespective of whether the harm occurred due to the negligence of the victim or whether all necessary precautions had been undertaken by the board.Electricity Board is statutorily authorized to supply electricity and the Board shall therefore be liable to compensate for any death or injury caused due to the transmission of energy. Make complaint before the board and request them. If they didnt reply you then you can file case against them

A.By advocate Rameshwor dadhe dear sir you should approach to the higher authority of electricity department . File complaint. If they are not respond you then approach to the court

Sir, I have already raised the complaint from last few months bt they are ignoring it and saying that u should have not built ur roof boundary/gallery. Please help me with the information that is it illegal to build roof boundary/gallery Bcoz I have read online that till 3ft of roof boundary/gallery is allowed to build.
