My dad had cataract surgery for both the eyes. SA for my policy is Rs 200000. Policy says 10% of SA is the limit for one eye cataract surgery i.e 20000 so in total 40000 should be given. However last year they approved total claim in the amount of 59000 (29500+29500). So now they are requesting excess of refund claim in the amount of Rs 19000. Can we deny to pay this considering its their mistake of Approval Team?

A.Dear Sir,

No body can enrich at cost of another. On the basis of this principle you are liable to refund the excess amount received by you.
