Our company is headquartered in Abu Dhabi and we employ people remotely from different parts of the world. Are employees bound to UAE HR Law or Indian HR law? And holidays, policies, and benefits should be drafted based on which region law?

A.Dear Client
This is quite a typical situation that has arisen recently for many companies especially for those who allow to work remotely. In my opinion the general HR policies which binds the employer and employee should be as per the company guidelines where it is headquartered but for the other employee benefits like leaves, holidays, insurance, medical support, Provident fund etc. the local laws from where the employee is working should be complied with.
