If succession certificate is needed If succession certificate is needed

My father had bought a land which is registered in his name. Now he wants to sell it. Do we need to provide succession certificate to the buyer as he is saying it is needed for mutation
My question is when my father bought the land himself and not got it through succession then why succession certificate is needed
I am afraid that the contractor who wants to buy the land might use it in a wrong way

A.Dear Client
There is no need for the succession Certificate or any other documents to transfer the property.
You just need to show your registered sale deed of your father's name.
Hope it helps

A.You are absolutely right. Since the said land is owned by your father only therefore he being the sole owner has the exclusive right to sell the said land to any person without the need of succession certificate or any other document other than the registered deed of sale proving the title of ownership in respect of the said land.
