A.Hello Sir,
Freedom of Speech and Expression, as provided by the Constitution under Article 19 (1) (a), provides that all citizens shall have the right to freedom of speech and expression. However, such freedom is subject to reasonable restriction. The protection of reputation of another person falls within the ambit of reasonable restriction and any comment or remark which hampers the reputation of another person (unless the statement is true) would invite liability under the law of defamation. If you have crossed your restrictions and harmed the reputation of the person then you are liable under IT Act.

A.Hi client,

Using insulting words against somebody can be claimed as an a defamatory action. Therefore I suggest you to, ask for apology and settle the matter amicably.
If you feel that you have not done anything defamatory then you can counter such case.

Thanks and Regards
Simi Paul
