Hi, I worked in company A and left it in 6 days because of my family problems and joined company B for one year on payroll job. Now company B is making me as their permanent employee and done background verification through EPFO UAN number in EPFO my last working day of company A is showing 17th March 2022 and company B joining date is showing 11th March 2022. So it's overlapping by one week. Now I am requesting company A to change date of exit in EPFO but they are not changing by saying I absconded their job.

A.Dear Client,
Communicate with the HR and present all the required documents. You can file a complain in case the allegations are false and misguided.

A.Dear client
When you leave a job you are supposed to end the employment formally by resignation so that the employer can fix a last date. Since you didnot do so as it appears hence this dual employment problem.
You have no legal recourse for this but to request the ex employer
