So I got selected for a two-month internship through my college placement procedure in a life insurance company. The company now wants us to do a sales job and complete a target of Rs. 1.5 lakhs. This was informed to us one week after we joined the company. They gave us 15 days to fulfill the target and the manager calls us twice a day pressurizing us to at least convert one customer failure which will either lead to our termination from the internship or they won't provide us with the certificate. It must be noted that the Job Description never mentioned any sort of sales part while it mentioned a promise of a certificate by the end of the internship. Neither did the interviewer mention any sales part during the interview. Moreover, the company did not even give us any sort of offer letter. am I still obligated to do the sales?

A.Hello,
you not obligated to any such job which were not mentioned in the job description and also ask them to provide you the offer letter.
