A.Get in touch with an Advocate to obtain anticipatory bail asap. Criminal Prosecution u/s.498A would continue following the provision of relevant law may be for couple of months. Untill and unless the charges are proved in the respective Court and an order of conviction is passed against you, you will not be treated as an accused in the eye of law and your police record shall remain afresh without any stigma. So police verification if carried out for an offer of employment in Indian Railways may not be a matter of concern as of now. But remember once you convicted by the Court either before joining the service or thereafter in course of employment, you may face lot of trouble and your employment may be at stake.

So, ask your Advocate to handle the matter carefully with all fairness and cooperate him accordingly to refute the charges brought against you under Cr PC/IPC.

A.Dear Sir,
You can Attend Railway exam. Pendency of criminal case/family case does not bar you from attending the exam as it does not involve any offences relating to moral turpitude.
