A.Theres is no provision as such in Labour Law. The Time schedule of working hours is stipulated in the contract of employment or offer letter issued to the employee or workman at the time of appointment following the provision of different Act, like the Factories Act, 1948, the Industrial Employment (SO) Act, 1946, Shops and Establishment Act etc.
An employee or workman is always governed by the terms of the contract of employment or appointment letter issued by the employer at the time of appointment.
