Insurance purchased on 25-Nov-2022 valid for one year, Car accident happened on 17-Feb-2023.
Immediately informed to agent & Branch manager & sent on email about accident & all other photos & documents.
Surveyors visited two times during the repair of the car at Car workshop.
Till today (after 3 months), no any information on insurance claim details & amount.
On phone call, these surveyors says the claim will get into my account within 2-3 days & still no any information or claim disbursal.

A.Dear Sir,
You may get issue a legal notice failing which approach Insurance Ombudsman to settle your claim otherwise approach Consumer Court.

A.Hello,
As per the information you have given a policyholder should first approach the insurance company itself to get their grievance addressed. You can approach the grievance redressal officer (GRO) of the insurance company. You can either visit the nearest branch or send an email to the GRO. You can find the email IDs of GROs of all insurance companies by clicking here.

While approaching the GRO you need to make sure that you give your complaint in writing along with the necessary supporting documents. You should not forget to take a written acknowledgement of your complaint with the date.

A.Dear Client,

Reach out to an Advocate with all papers /documents ASAP for filing a claim application before Motor Accident Claim Tribunal concerned claiming appropriate relief in the matter.
