Salary not credited as promised by employeer
11 months ago
Emplaoyeer terminated me without any reason nor giving any prior warning. Due to which they haven’t given me April Month salary and also they’ve committed to give me a 2 months salary i.e. for may and jun month as discussed by the HR.
But after 2 hr I still didn’t get any salary from company and they’re just giving me excuses. I’m at very critical financial state now.
Please tell me what to do

A.Good evening!
The Payment of Wages Act, 1936, ensures that employees get their salaries on time. However, if the employer denies or delays the payment of salary or wages to the employee or worker, then has the option of sending a legal notice to the employer for the payment of salary. A certain list of documents that is required while sending a legal notice to the employer if you are wondering what to do if company is not giving salary :
1. Proof of unpaid salary through bank statements, etc.
2. Appointment letter
3. Details of your salary, benefits, pay, and perks
4. Copy of Employment Contract
Upon receiving the Legal Notice from his employee, the employer must pay the unpaid dues with interest to the employee. However, if the employer refuses or fails to do so, then further legal remedies can be undertaken.
