Home loan Account closed without Customer Consent

Dear Sir/Madam,
I hold 1 Home Loan account with current Rate of Interest 9.2% for which I am availing Tax Benefit under 80c and 12B along with this home loan I am holding Topup home loan with current Rate of Interest 9.5%.I have taken Group Health insurance at the time of availing loan and insurance company has recently settled my claim Amount as I undergone Brain tumor surgery. I had to follow multiple time with the bank to pass on the amount received by the bank to my loan account.After multiple follow up they have given credit to my loan account as per their wish and without my consent closed my Home loan accounts which is having lower interest rates and tax benefits..Can I take Legal action against the bank as Iam loosing tax benefits and bank has processed the transaction without my conse6
In the given situation, you may serve a legal notice to the Bank endorsing a copy to the higher authority. If no resolutions arrived, make out a complaint online to the Grievance portal of RBI and All India Bank Employees Federation.
