I was pressurised while getting offer letter for bond for 3 yrs while getting job in engg college as asst proffesor but now when i resign in 7 months they are asking entire 7 months drawn salary as an compensation of breaking bond ..plz suggest my legal rights i have already provided them 20 days notice n Same days salary as an compensation

A.Dear client,

Everything comes down tot he terms of the agreement you had signed while accepting this job. Read that over again to see what the penalty is for breaking the bond. Understand that there is no point of the 20 days notice you have provided because you are breaking a bond. Therefore, your rights will depend on the agreement you signed while accepting the job

Condition mention in bond-Failure to serve 3yrs will have to pay compensation to the institute and may be decided by management subject to maximum salary drawn during the tenure of 3yrs
