my friend doesnt have parents, her father killed his mother when she was in her 5th class, her father was imprisoned for few years and now we dont know if hes out or not. life has always been hard on her. she lives with her uncle nd aunt, she isnt legaly adopted. and now she is all grown up and excited for her collage life but yet again the past has grabbed her. her uncle and aunt cannot afford private collages fees and her only hope was to get admission in Delhi University, but it require her mothers death certificate ( her real aunt has locked it in her old house in gurgaon, she dosent exacty know were it is), single girl child which again needs her parents sing. and she doest have her name written on her birth certifaicte. and we only have 1 weeks time left to complete the form. pls guide us a way out so her past doest crush her life again.
you can obtain a duplicate death certificate. Please go to the municipality office and follow the below steps
Submit the completed application form, required documents and fees (if required).
Authorities will verify the details submitted. They will process the request to get the duplicate copy.
You can then collect the duplicate death certificate as per notified period (usually on same day).
Alternatively you may check record online and get print out if it is sufficient to serve your purpose.
In the prevailing situation, your friend needs to approach Chairperson, Women Commission, and Human Rights Commission, ASAP explaining her past tragedy and trauma in detail with a prayer for proper relief to enable her to pursue her dream career at Delhi University. Apart from this, she can approach an NGO that rendered dedicated services to needy students to pursue higher studies to build up a better career. After the enactment of the Right to Education Act, in 2009, the right to education was made a fundamental right for compulsory education to all children of 6 to 14 years age, but the said Act is not applicable to higher studies.
