A.Dear client,

the Surrogacy (Regulation) Bill, 2020, was passed by the Indian Parliament to regulate surrogacy in India. The bill does not specifically prohibit single males from opting for surrogacy, but it imposes certain restrictions and eligibility criteria.

According to the Surrogacy (Regulation) Bill, 2020, only Indian heterosexual couples who have been married for at least five years and are unable to conceive a child naturally are eligible for surrogacy. The bill prohibits surrogacy for singles, homosexuals, live-in partners, and foreign nationals, among others.

Therefore, a single male is not allowed to go for surrogacy and it is applicable only for couples.
