A.Dear Client,
When you join the Company for online data entry job then you must have a copy of your offer letter and if that offer letter is silent on the subject or without any specific terms stating that in case you leave the job before the assigned period, you have to pay a sum of Rs.4000/- towards compensation for damage or financial loss caused to the company for leaving the job incomplete and without notice, then the Company cannot take any legal action for recovery of said money from an ex-employee. If you received any threat or legal action from the Company or its agent, then bring the matter to the notice of the local police station by filing a GD/FIR and consult an Advocate for guidance and further course of action.

A.Dear Client,
If you had a written employment contract or agreement with the company, it may outline the terms and conditions of your employment, including any penalties for leaving the job before completion. You should review the contract to understand your rights and obligations. If you had a valid contract with the company, the terms specified in the contract would be binding on both parties. Breaching the contract without legal grounds could potentially lead to legal consequences.

Since this involves an online data entry job, various internet and cyber laws might apply, including those related to privacy, data protection, and online fraud.
