delay in returning title deeds of property delay in returning title deeds of property

I had taken home loan of Rs 5 lacs from sbi in 2007.He had liquidated the loan in 2011 but the bank didn't return the original title deeds of the property. After several follow up,the bank said that the title deeds are misplaced in sep 2017. Then the bank return the title deeds in oct 2017. Can i file a suit for compensation in consumer court now ? How much compensation can i demand??

A.Dear Sir claim of compensation could be filed,before that send legal notice and ask compensation ,They deny file the same

A.Dear Sir,
Get issue a legal notice and file a complaint before different authorities like Banking Ombudsman and Consumer Court. In the meanwhile you may try for duplicate documents on the basis of FIR and endorsement issued by Bankers. You can claim compensation upto value of the property.
