I have paid one month rent as a token amount for a house in mumbai. As I was travelling next day, they have taken my aadhar photo and finger print. They shared a draft agreement copy in which certain things about increment of rent and deductions from 3 months deposit amount was unfair. So I asked to cancel the deal. Now they are neither sharing the rent agreement nor the cancelled copy nor my one month advance. They are not returning my money nor they are hsaring cancelled agreement copy. What should I do ?

A.Dear Client,
In the given circumstances, serve a legal notice to the Landlord and reach out to the office/department of the Rent Controller appointed and constituted under the State Rent Control Act to file a complaint over alleged unfair and unetical practices against the landlord.

A.Dear Sir,
You may approach the police since it is nothing but cheating by the land lord. You may threaten him to viral the same on the social network and also distribute the pamphlets and paste the same nearby his house so that no prospective TENANT approach him
