Loyalty bonus Loyalty bonus

I have been employed by the bank on 26th nov 2014 and there was a term on which I was supposed to be paid loyalty bonus after completion of six years ,however i fell ill from 15 .07 .2019 to 17.03.2022 and the bank took me back on unauthorised absence on loss of pay on medical grounds . I completed my six years on 30.06 2022 and applied for loyalty bonus but bank declined telling loss of pay of 20 months.later my absent period was regularised and increment was also given on 01.07.2023 . But bank is denying loyalty bonus though I have completed six years now.....there was no mention of continuous service of six years in the advertisement.

A.Dear client,
If there was no mention of the continuous period then you can challenge their decision of not paying you the loyalty bonus but before you do so ensure to go through all the employment terms and conditions.

A.Dear Client,
A loyalty ËŒbonus is a sum of money that someone is paid as a reward for being a regular customer or for continuing to work for someone. Payments might include a loyalty bonus for those who stay for the full period. though the condition of continuous service for six years is not expressly mentioned and is silent in the advertisement, it is an implied condition applicable to you for the relevant period you remain absent for twenty months from work on medical grounds.
