Threatening from Police

I had filed a complaint in CMO and PMO Portal regarding a traffic challan received by me which was wrong. And in that portal for reference, I had attached a Photo Cutting from Newspaper proving my point that people do get the wrong memo and I had questioned them regarding the redressal mechanism. Yesterday they sent me a letter to be present in front of P.I. and when I met him today he cancelled my memo but the cutting which was from a newspaper he told that it was morphed image which I didn't know, and I also don't know that person of photo cutting, now P.I. is sort of threatening me to make me accuse with that person and Newspaper, I wasn't aware of any such thing and I only had questioned CMO and PMO, I had no other intention. He told me that he will call me again, I am feeling quite tensed and in fear, for doing good I am paying price? Please guide me.

Do not worry at all. Be strong and face the situation if police harass there HRC and Lokayuktha to make complaint on them. Its a democratic country and there is system for everything.
You can even file private complaint for threatening you.
No need to fear for them, have an advocate accompany you or go with two or more people while going next time to PS.
To make it simpler, Just tell them that I had done no wrong and if you find wrong with news paper, file case on news paper editor and not on you .

I m not wrong dis case from pune I m read dis case n saw in one newspaper......that's apart u don't warry ...u make sure that u don't know about the photo cuttings .....
Without confirming you should not have sent such photos. Anyway apologizes to the Police Officer and try to get out of this situation.
