I am a girl.my age is 22.i and my bf lives in kolkata.my bfs age wil be 21 at 2020.on 16th january he wil be 21 age.so can i marry him on 16th jan 2020 or on the next day only??we both are studying betch final yr.i am recently doing earing as i am doing internship.my family actually not accepting him but his family accepted me.so please say me the solution that when i can marry my bf in kolkata?we both are hindu.

You both are under 22 and you are in love so my suggestion may not go through your ear. Wait for sometime and see still you love each other then decide. Both of you try to get financial status so that you can live independently .

A.Hi, you can definetly marry your boyfriend on the day he completes 21 years of age which will be the 15th January 2020. However, I believe that since this marriage is against your parents wish, I suggest that after your marriage is registered, you please send a letter by registered A.D (India Post) to the local police station. This is because in the future when your parents come to know about the marriage and if they think of filing a complaint against your husband like kidnapping, he will be safeguarded as you have made a wilful declaration of marriage.

A.In Hindu Marriage Act the conditions for marriage are that a male person have completed 21 years of age. So you can marry your bf on his completing 21 years of age.
According to the details submitted by you , your bf is turning 21 on 16th January 2020 so you both can marry after that.
