My father died on road accident. Hit by hundai creta.he was on two Wheeler. We want to claim third party insurance. What are the documents required. How much amount we will get. My mother was pilion rider but she has minor injuries.

A.1. the documents required are FIR, Post Martum report, Date of birth and Income proof of the deceased,

A.Dear Sir,
It all depends upon terms of your policy terms. First lodge FIR and get a copy of it and then approach the Insurance company then to the Insurance Ombudsman if company do not cooperate.

A.Hi,

Sorry for your loss and hope your mom is doing good now.

Please initiate a claim before the MACT or designated court. The claim depends on his age, earning, dependant, expenses etc.

There is a good chance of settlement after filing the proceedings, but it won't take much time for the final disposal.
