reservation to kids of BC (backward class) parents

Sir,
My father has BC (backward Class) certificate issued by Punjab .he used to live in Ferozpur Distt..But then in 1985 He Got Posted in Chandigarh In punjab Govt as employee... Now My entire family is living here in chandigarh since 1985... we the kids have got OBC certificate issued By SDM chandigarh ...My caste comes Both In central As well as Punjab State list............ Now I want to apply for a job At punjab public service commision.. under Punjab BC (punjab) Category........here They ask for domicile Certificate of punjab too......I want to know can I avail The reservation in punjab govt?.....My father is still in service with punjab govt at chandigarh.....I just have adhaar and pan card as residence proof......No one in the family has domicile certificate of Chandigarh......

Please visit DC/ SDM office and submit the ID and address proof along with the application ( kindly mention the purpose of the certificate as Job). They may issue the same in 7-10 working days.

The instructions issued in this Ministry’s letter of even number dated the 18.11.1982 will continue. It is, however, clarified that the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe person on migration from the State of his origin to another State will not lose his status as Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes but he will be entitled to the concessions/benefits admissible to the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes from the State of his origin and not from the State where he has migrated. All competent authorities may be advised under intimation to this Ministry to issue the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe certificates on the revised form of certificate henceforth after satisfying themselves of correctness of the certificate after proper verification based on the revenue records/through reliable enquiries. The list of the competent authorities empowered and incorporated in the form may please be followed strictly. No other authority may be authorized to issue the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe certificates.

Please apply the domicile certificate as per the requirements. This is a very easy one, you need to visit DC/ SDM office and submit the ID and address proof along with the application ( kindly mention the purpose of the certificate as Job). They may issue the same in 7-10 working days.
