DVC and 498a statement

In 498a and domestic violence statement they mentioned some community people names as all are from there locality.. saying that the panchyat was conducted in-front of those people but the fact is the panchayt was never happened.
Will those mentioned names treated as witnesses and if they come and say something against to us how will it effect the case.

It is fine if they dare to come as witness then your advocate can trap them during cross examination. If not turned up then summon them as your witnesses, if not turned up then take benefit out of those situations. Please give me Rank 5 if you feel my answers also helped you

A.Hi,
The explanation is too short to have a detailed opinion. Request to discuss this with your present lawyer.
A. As per the law, if she/he/ complainant has mentioned their name.
B. The Police may serve them with section 91 notice to record their statement.
C. On the same, they need to appear before the police station and record their statement.
D. After the police investigation, they file chargesheet
E. Their statement shall cross-question by your lawyer.
