Respected Mam Sarika Khude , THANKYOU SO MUCH FOR THE REPLY . A s you asked me the age difference between me and my uncle Its 30 years . My uncle is 30 years elder than me . Can my Uncle adopt me . I AM a major hindhu girl unmarried.

A.Under the Hindu Adoption and Maintenance Act, 1956
Conditions for adoption by Hindu couples or single parent
1. When a Hindu male or a Female want to adopt a son, they should not have a son living whether legitimate or illegitimate, at the time of adoption.
2. When a male or a Female Hindu want to adopt a daughter, they should not have a daughter or son’s daughter living at the time of adoption.
3. If a male wants to adopt a daughter, he should be at least 21 years older than the adoptive daughter.
4. If a Female wants to adopt a son, she should be at least 21 years older than the adoptive son.

A.According to s. 10(iv) of Hindu Adoption and Maintenance Act, 1956 if a person has completed his 15 years of age then he can cannot be adopted, unless there is a specific custom or usage permitting such adoption. But I think there would not be any such custom in your cast/subcast. So your uncle cannot adopt you.
