Land lord not returning my security deposit

My previous landlord is not returning my security deposit after I have handed over the house by making false allegstions on the quality of house. What can I do?

A.You should send a legal notice as soon as possible.

A.You can get issue a legal notice threatening that you will distribute pamphlets in his locality about his conduct and he may come down. Use some rude methods.

A.Dear client,
You can give your previous landlord a legal notice and subsequently if he doesn't return money then you can file a suit for specific performance and recovery of the money.

A.Hello Amit,
The first thing that you need to do is send him a legal notice asking for the deposit amount and also compensation for the mental harassment caused to you.
Additionally what you also need to do is make a formal written complaint with the respective Police Station on the grounds of cheating, criminal breach of trust and conspiracy. A criminal complaint will definetly act as subtle pressure on him and in order to avoid penal consequences, chances are more that he might return the deposit amount.
