One month notice period
We are staying in a rental apartment from 6 months. There is no lock in period but we need to give one month notice. we informed him On May 12th , so notice period will be till June 12th ,we will leave the property may 31st we told him that we will pay next month 12 days rent while leaving but he is saying we need to pay full amount for the next month.what we need to do now ??
A.Dear Sir,
If there is no notice period. Then reasonable notice period of one month has been given by you. And you just pay 15 days rent and leave the house. He can do nothing. If you have given advance then it will be a problem. He seems to be a greedy. Then tell him that you will leave bad feed back on the prospective tenants and that he is unable to get any tenant for the next six months.
