My father, 80yrs, is a central govt. Pensioner who has pension about 25k per month and has own fixed deposits of around 7 lakhs and land properties worth 40lacs in his name. In this situation is it legally mandatory to take care of him by me itself, his son?

A.Though you are not required to help your father financially as he is having his own income sufficient for himself, But being a son it is your Moral & Legal duty to take care of him. As it is natural binding of the family values & i am sure your father will also not let you down. Also though he may have money then too he may tell you to buy something from your finance, but that is out of love & affection. As eventually whatever is his will be yours too.. So Sir always think in positive way ... though it is legal binding that all the children including Sons & Daughters have to look after their parents.
