A.Dear client,

With regards to the fees of notice to be given in 138 matter, it generally depends from advocates to advocates and they charge as per their skill, knowledge and expertise.
But generally it is charged as per the amount of cheque amount which has been dishonoured.
Suppose if the cheque amount is 100000/- then the case of the fee of the whole case can be between 10,000 to 12,5000/- and so the notice fees can be around 3,500/- to 5000/-.

Sometimes lawyer may charge a lump-sum amount which can be around 1000/-.

Do revert if you need to draft a notice of the cheque bounce and I can surely help you out at the rate convinient to both of us.

Hope you have received a satisfactory result from my side and please award me with appropriate award.

Thank you

A.You have not mentioned the amount of Cheque Bounce, is it in Hundreds, Thousands, Lakhs, Crores etc.
You have not mentioned the type of Cheque i.e. Is it of Current Account/ Savings Account etc.
You have not mentioned the type of Transactions which have taken between you & the Party like any Agreement / Promissory Note/ Bill Dues of a supplier etc

It depends on lawyer to lawyer & Ranges from Rs.2,000/- to Rs.50,000/- OR EVEN MORE depending on the draft & matters put up in the Notice & its quality. Eg: It is just like you buying a White Shirt on Road Side you get for Rs.100/-, in small shop starting from Rs.250/-, in big malls Rs. 500/- & branded like Louis Phillipe & Arrow starting from Rs.3,000/- to Rs.10,000/-, & even more branded like Gucci & Armani Rs.80,000/- & so on....Although all are ONLY 1 SINGLE white shirt & covers the same body parts as that of the lower range price. So it the QUALITY of the shirt that matters & so is the lawyers fees. Another Eg. You can get Chicken Biryani from a local vendor for Rs.70/- in Mumbai it doesnot mean that he is serving you a bad or stale Biryani to eat, but there is also other famous Chicken Biryani centres in which you will get the same Chicken, but it will be boneless, More soft to taste, other dryfruits such as kismis/ Raisins, Cashew nuts etc, addons like raita & papad are also unlimited. The Chicken Sajuk Biryani in Pune was sold for Rs 1,500 /-
