My landlord have sell few floors of the building to Mr X. My landlord receives rent every month and provide me rent receipt.Now my query is if I have to talk regarding my tenanted space to landlord he says talk to Mr X ,but landlord don't provide me any type of power of attorney regarding Mr X.he might be the owner of some space of the building but Mr X is not my landlord? How to deal with such situation? I don't received any written document regarding Mr X.plz guide me

A.If Mr. X does not own your particular floor or property, then your landlord cannot absolve his own responsibility of providing you assistance or maintaining your property.
The lease agreement is registered? Rent agreement is surely in the name of your Landlord only.

If he is being sly about the ownership of your property, then there is also criminal and civil action against him.

Best start would be to send a legal notice as soon as possible.

A.Get issue legal notice to both of them and file suit against both of them for recovery.
