Promotion not at the time of vacancy occurence

Im working in kerala govt. Vacancy of my promotion occured in february 2020.But I promoted on july 30.i promted to different type of job. How can i get with effect

A.Generally the promotion becomes after a posting in a different type of job & the role and responsibilities changes as per the promotion so it is as per the the rules governed by the the government itself you will have to go along with it.
