Legal opinion regarding issue with open plot registration Legal opinion regarding issue with open plot registration

I had booked a plot for 6200 per sq yard for 429sq yard in july 2017 and paid 4 lakhs for the same with an agreement that rest of the amount will be paid as a part of home loan. The venture did not get complete approval at that time and hence the Home loan was delayed. its been 3 years and now when we approach him to register the plot through home loan. he says that he will not provide the plot at the price which we had booked. he is hiking the price to 8100 per sq yard compared to 6200 per sq yard when we had booked.

I would need a legal opinion on how can this issue be taken up and what are the options that i have from the customer point of view and what does the law say in this regard.

A.You take file a case against him. If the project where you booked the Flat falls under the purview of RERA then you need to file the case before Housing Industry Regulatory Authority. Else you need to file the case Before Consumer Forum. In both these two option you get compensation along with direction.
But if you want o get direction to register the plot in favour of You, then you have one more option to file a Civil suit for Specific Performance against him.
