My mother was adopted by my grandparents but there is no document of adoption of my mother but all her certificates show my grand fathers name as father .later my brother was also legally adopted as heir for my grandparents.no will was made.Does my mother have claim on my grandparents property.

A.Hi,
As per the facts stated by you,
In the absence of any documentary evidence. The burden of proof lies on your mother, that your mother was adopted by your grandfather. It can be proved by oral and circumstantial evidence and the certificates of your mother(stating her father's name). If the court agrees to the adoption, your mother can claim share in his property.

A.Hi,
In the absence of any documentary evidence to prove that your mother was adopted by your grandfather, the burden of proof lies on your mother. The evidences you can use to prove your case i.e. your mother was really adopted by your grandfather. If the court agrees to the adoption, your mother can claim share in his property.
